About Amelia

I'm an actor and multi-hyphenate with experience in theatre, TV, film and more.

And I'm passionate about the power of story to connect with people.

Acting highlights include:

THEATRE: Julius Caesar, The Age of Entitlement, Jack Data;

TV: Rake, Deadly Women, Dark Minds;

FILM: #1 At the Apocalypse Box Office, My Name is Faten, Cherry Tree Hill;

WEB: Mould, Dave Plus One;

Commercial and corporate clients have included Woolworths, Fox Sports, McDonalds, Elsevier, and many more.

I also toured Australia for two years doing Theatre In Education - an amazing experience in more ways than one!

I have also worn a number of hats behind-the-scenes - mostly directing, assistant directing, script consulting, and coaching.

Beginning in Short+Sweet, where I was both nominated Best New Talent (Directing), and profiled on Movie Extra docuseries "To Be Or Not To Be" for my work on "Perfect Stillness", I've since directed for the Colourblind Project, Imagine Festival, and various other places around Sydney.

I've also amassed experience in assistant directing, production, script editing/dramaturgy and more, on various indie theatre productions, film, and music videos, and freelanced as a performance &/or drama coach for companies, groups and individuals.

I'm a graduate of A.A.D.A.'s 3 year acting course, and later studied Philosophy and Performance Studies at Sydney University.

Last but not least, I'm a massive science nerd - I've studied physics, philosophy, and environmental science, and am endlessly preoccupied and inspired by some of the big questions in the universe, as well as taking care of our own planet.
